About me

My name is Emilio and I’m an Italian photographer and software developer. I’m currently working full time for Spotify, in the Stockholm headquarters. I really like technology and science, but I’m also something else.

Given that software has been my employment (and subject of study) for the past years I usually don’t say immediately that I love photography, but somehow photography and visual arts have always been present in my life. When I was a child my passion was drawing, and I thought for years to choose an art school for my future. I don’t know how much time I spent drawing.

At some point I chose my other passion, science, but at the same time I also found the perfect convergence point of these two worlds, digital photography. And now it’s more than 5 years that this is a beautiful addiction.

Even if photography is also a “consequence” for me, from the other side it is also my biggest mean of expression. I like to feel the enthusiasm taking a photograph, capturing the energy of a moment, the perfection of a shape, the expression of an idea. And I hope that my pictures can give you at least some of this thoughts and feelings. This is what I think a photograph is.
